We’re excited to offer customized aquatic therapy programs tailored to our patients’ specific ages, injuries, severity of symptoms, and affected joints.
Aquatic therapy is an excellent exercise option for people whose pain, injuries, or conditions prevent them from engaging in normal exercise. Specifically, individuals suffering from low back pain, arthritis, fibromyalgia, or who have had total joint replacements or sprains will greatly benefit from aquatic therapy. The warm, relaxing environment allows patients to rehabilitate more efficiently with less pain. The buoyancy of the water diminishes joint compression and enhances mobility, and the pressure of the surrounding water helps reduce inflammation and improve postural awareness.
